4月27日 Mikey'sI find it amusing that the ugly promoter of the club who is obviously ugly and obnoxious thinks he's a big deal.
Last night he stopped the DJ and said that there was something wrong, something wrong we all thought? With what? And then he says we don't have any girls dancing on tables (on the stage where the DJ booth is situated). Girls, dancing on tables? That's what was wrong?! Nobody noticed, or even cared up until he said anything. Furthermore , he goes on to threaten the audience with, "I'll start singing the Star Spangled Banner if we don't get any girls up here ..." I have a better idea, if you're so eager for girls to get up on stage and start shaking various areas of their anatomy, you get up there and shake your flat ass and beer gut! Sing the Star Spangled Banner while your at it too! And as for trying to get DJ Chad laid, you're not doing the guy a favour in fact your embarrassing him (unless of course he's completely oblivious to it, in which case keep on at it, he deserves it if he's that stupid) you're saying he ain't got enough game that he has to rely on the ugly, rhino looking promoter to get him a number. People say a strip club wouldn't be popular in Hilo ... you wouldn't know it from all the girls and guys who literally take off their clothes, and dance, grind, and whatever it is they do at strip clubs, they do in Uncle Mikey's. If you're gonna dance, and take your clothes off while you're at it you might as well be making some money out of it. Everybody dances the same up in there anyway, nothing new, the stripper kine dances, moving the hips and pelvis and asses the same way. Same facial expressions. There I said it and it feels great. It is liberating to free yourself from expectations, from waiting and being disappointed time and time again. I'm sad about it, but it's been a waste of time and energy stressing myself out about a person who's an ocean and a whole continent away. I'm going to go and watch hula and be transported to days when Kamehameha walked the earth.

4月11日 Please Sir, Can I Have Some Mooowa?I was just reading Adnan's blog's and compared to his, mine seem shallow. I think that's the word of the day for me, I've used it twice to describe myself.
International Nights 2006 were a success, we sold out both nights and both nights had awesome performers. Working on International Nights reminded me of UN Concert minus all the drama. I'm very proud to be part of ISA. We're one of the biggest and most active clubs on campus, and we host the biggest cultural events too i.e United Nations Day (in the Fall) and International Nights (in the Spring).
I need to work on not rushing through tasks, I need to learn to take my time and do things properly, reading instructions also helps quite abit as does listening to adivce and accepting help when its offered and its oh so obvious that one needs it.
I sent my taxes off finally. My new motivational phrase for me to get things done is 'Bite The Bullet'. Kinda like the 'Just Do It', well really its the same thing but 'Bite The Bullet' makes me want to do whatever it is that I have to do more than 'Just Do It' does.
I caught up with Tanya over the weekend, that was nice. At first I didn't know who it was that was talking to me, so I was more than a little confused and taken aback.
The movie Annapolis was a waste of time and certainly worth the dollar I paid to see it. Speaking of movies I want to see:
Take the Lead is a more grown up, edgy, smells just like Hollywood recreation of 'Mad Hot Ballroom', which was by the way a very good film. I enjoyed watching the children talk about their lives honestly, no airs, and most of all watching them dance.
Aloha ~Coconut girl 3月20日 Sun came out todayThe sun finally came out today, I was ecstatic! I went to bed with my contacts in and I couldn't figure out why I wasn't able to sleep until four in the morning when tada! I realised I had forgotten to take them out.
Its not quite a struggle to put them in and take them out as it was before, which I am grateful for.
As well as the sun coming out today I woke up to the voices of strange men outside my window ... they were working on the house, at 8am in the morning. Argh!
 That did not make me happy.Joel and I cooked curry last night, he made me extremely annoyed. He likes to tell people what to do all the time, and so he started 'instructing' me on how to cook curry. If I don't ask for your help that means I really don't want it or appreciate you giving it to me out of the goodness of your heart. I thought I screwed up the curry because of events we will not get into coz I really don't want to type it all out - but it turned out fine. A little salty but edible all the same.
I have no idea what's going on in War and the State and I think (I hope) we get our Politics of China midterms back.
Taxes, taxes, taxes. I need to get that done and out of the way so I can get my money back already. Laie here I come! I decided, well not decided but its kinda maybe a possiblity that I might work over the summer because I really want that ipod and that camera. But I also just want to not do anything or an entire week, make really good friends with my bed kine week.
Megan and I had soo much fun last spring break, Megan you really should come back to Hilo just for Spring Break so we can go to Hapuna and I can flash the entire beach 3 three times and then hit the driving range. If I haven't told you once I'm telling you again, Megan you are the best golf tutor ever. I can actually hit the ball with you, never with Joel or anybody else. I think you just got it like that Latte! WOOHOO.
International Nights is two weeks away and I still haven't got my washboard abs ... hahaha I like my junk food too much for that to ever happen. Ever!
I have to go the the bank now to make sure I haven't overdrawn for like the third time this month.
